If you’ve been looking for local art in Cary, NC or want to add an original painting to your home while supporting a local artist, save the date for the 2026 Fenton Art Festival in Cary.
I’m excited to be bringing Amy’s Creative Corner back to Fenton on Sunday, September 13 from 11am-5pm.
I’ll have a new collection of original paintings, along with art prints, stationery, painting kits, bookmarks and other smaller pieces featuring many of the animals, birds and nature-inspired subjects that show up throughout my work.

Original Art Made in Cary, North Carolina
I’m a local artist working from my studio in Cary, and much of my work is inspired by animals, wildlife and the natural world. My paintings combine recognizable subjects with more contemporary and abstract elements, so you’ll find everything from hummingbirds and cardinals to owls, butterflies and other wildlife alongside more abstract pieces.
One of my favorite things about an art festival is that you can see the work in person. You can get a much better sense of the actual size of a painting, see the texture and layers up close, and find out whether a piece really feels right for your home.
And you don’t have to be looking for a large original painting to come by. I’ll have pieces at different sizes and price points, including prints, stationery and bookmarks.

A Cary Art Festival Filled With Local Artists
The Fenton Art Festival brings artists from Cary, Raleigh and throughout the Triangle together for a full day of art at Fenton.
It’s a great opportunity to discover local artists, talk directly with the people making the work and take home something that wasn’t mass-produced.
If you’ve been wanting to buy local art in Cary or Raleigh, this is an easy way to see a lot of original work in one place.

And There Will Be a Giveaway...
I’m also planning a special raffle at my booth this year. I’m keeping the prize a little bit of a surprise for now, but I’ll give you a hint: animal lovers may especially want to enter. More details are coming as we get closer to the festival!
And did I mention this event as well as my art tent are very dog-friendly! I will have dog treats and water for your furry friends.
