Meet Amy
I was born in upstate NY, enjoying figure skating, playing outside, and of course, drawing at any given opportunity.

I began painting and drawing from an early age. As a 12 year old living in North Carolina, I was allowed to attend the adult Bob Ross painting class, where I dove into the world of painting, painting many happy trees! I was blessed as a young artist with very supportive parents, thanks Mom and Dad.
In Raleigh, NC, where I attended William Peace University, I studied graphic design and minored in dance. It wasn't until after college that I invested much time and energy into my Etsy shop, Amy's Creative Corner. I'd set up my tent on the weekends at farmers markets and art shows selling my crafts and artwork.

Since 2008, I have continued to hone my skills as a self-taught pet portraitist, and have further explored my personal pieces of artwork as well.

The inspiration for my personal work comes from visions in my dreams and the synchronistic patterns of objects and animals that I see.
I believe that artwork has the potential to help heal hearts and relieve stress by processing what comes to surface from your subconscious while viewing artwork.

I've worked a wide range of jobs. I enjoyed the 9-5 graphic design type jobs for some time, but always came back to wanting to be in front of a canvas.
I am a licensed massage therapist and yoga teacher in the Raleigh, NC area. I also teach a meditation class with my husband, Michael, in the Raleigh area. I am passionate about helping people to find balance in their minds, bodies and spirits.

I truly appreciate your love and support!
Thanks kindly,
Amy
